Start the race upstream and end at Roaring River Park, where an awards ceremony and lunch will be held. Children and adults 10 and over may enter. Race participants will receive a t-shirt, but kayaks must be supplied by participants or rented from a local outfitter. Entry fees are $35 through April 5 and will increase to $40 through April 19. The books in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library are selected by a blue ribbon committee of childhood education experts. If you would like to enroll your child, you may fill out a registration form at the Art Circle Public Library.

    Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability (UCAAAD) is now offering application assistance with SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, for adults 60 and over or individuals with a disability to provide eligible individuals with monthly benefits to buy food. Applicants 60 and over or an individual with a disability can now call the UCAAAD SNAP Benefits Coordinator at (931) 432-4111 for free and confidential application assistance.
